DESCRIPTION:Defensive Handgun 3 is designed for students who have an intere
 st in learning defensive shooting fundamentals working on things like\, Cl
 ose Quarters Defense (CQD) &amp\; CCW Handgun Defense\, Vehicle Dynamics (
 Self Defense from and around Vehicles)\, Home Defense Dynamics\, Active Sh
 ooter Defense and shooting in different and varied situations and circumst
 ances you might find yourself in every day life.\n\n (This is not a begin
 ner class)\n\nOver this course you will learn things such as:\n\n*Proper s
 tances and grips for defensive shooting\n*The concept of acceptable accura
 cy and target focused shooting techniques\n*CCW defense against weapons an
 d multiple attackers\n*Handgun retention techniques and strikes\n*Retentio
 n shooting and shooting on the move\n\nPrerequisites: \n\nDefensive Handg
 un 1 Next Steps Class with instructors approval\, Defensive Handgun 2/CCW 
 or Equivalent. \n\nAll students must be legally able to possess a firearm
  in the State of California.\nAdequate understanding of firearms safety ru
 les.\nAbility to safely and comfortably manipulate your firearm while usin
 g a holster. (if you are not comfortable with this\, please take Next Step
 s to get the proper training with holster before taking Defensive Handgun 
 3)\n\nWhat to Bring:\n\nGear: Ear protection (plugs or muffs)\, eye protec
 tion (wrap around glasses or glasses with some form of side protection pre
 ferred). Athletic shoes. It's an outdoor range so check the weather and dr
 ess accordingly. We run rain or shine.  \n\nFirearm: Bring a reliable se
 mi-automatic handgun And Rifle and at least 300 rounds of ammunition Each.
   \n\nA kydex-type\, hard side\, rigid holster and magazine pouches on a 
 belt. It is highly suggested that each student bring the gear that they ei
 ther carry or train with to get the most out of the class.  * Serpa-type 
 holsters are NOT allowed - if you have questions about this\, please ask.
