DESCRIPTION:** This class has been consolidated with the August 19 session 
 **\n\nDefensive Handgun 3 is forever evolving and is designed for students
  who have an interest in learning defensive shooting fundamentals working 
 on things like\, Close Quarters Defense (CQD) &amp\; CCW Handgun Defense\,
  Vehicle Dynamics (Self Defense from and around Vehicles)\, Home Defense D
 ynamics\, Active Shooter Defense and shooting in different and varied situ
 ations and circumstances you might find yourself in every day life.\n\n (
 This is not a beginner class)\n\nOver this course you will learn things su
 ch as:\n\n*Proper stances and grips for defensive shooting\n*The concept o
 f acceptable accuracy and target focused shooting techniques\n*CCW defense
  against weapons and multiple attackers\n*Handgun retention techniques and
  strikes\n*Retention shooting and shooting on the move\n\nPrerequisites: 
 \n\nDefensive Handgun 1 Next Steps Class with instructors approval\, Defen
 sive Handgun 2/CCW or Equivalent.\n\nAll students must be legally able to 
 possess a firearm in the State of California.\n\nAdequate understanding of
  firearms safety rules.\nAbility to safely and comfortably manipulate your
  firearm while using a holster. (if you are not comfortable with this\, pl
 ease take Next Steps to get the proper training with holster before taking
  Defensive Handgun 3)\n\nWhat to Bring:\n\nGear: Ear protection (plugs or 
 muffs)\, eye protection (wrap around glasses or glasses with some form of 
 side protection preferred). Athletic shoes. It's an outdoor range so check
  the weather and dress accordingly. We run rain or shine.  \n\nFirearm: 
 Bring a reliable semi-automatic handgun or revolver and at least 300 round
 s of ammunition.  \n\nPersonal: Bring your own lunch (there will be a 45 
 minute break). We are short driving distance from several restaurants. Sna
 cks and water will be provided.\n\nSuggested: A kydex-type holster and mag
 azine pouches on a belt. It is highly suggested that each student bring th
 e gear that they either carry or train with to get the most out of the cla
