DESCRIPTION:Our Gun Fighting Class is an advanced class designed for studen
 ts who have an interest in learning speed shooting fundamentals and workin
 g on CCW retention techniques and CQB handgun defense. Over the the one da
 y course you will learn things such as:\n\n*Proper stance and grip for spe
 ed shooting\n*The concept of acceptable accuracy\n*Target focused shooting
  techniques\n*CCW defense against weapons\n*Handgun retention techniques a
 nd strikes\n*Retention shooting\n\nPrerequisites:\n\nAll students must be 
 legally able to possess a firearm in the State of California.\nAt solid un
 derstanding of firearms safety rules.\nAbility to safely manipulate your f
 irearm.\nAbility to confidently draw and reload your handgun.\n\nWhat to B
 ring:\n\nGear: Ear protection (plugs or muffs)\, eye protection (wrap arou
 nd glasses or glasses with some form of side protection preferred). Athlet
 ic shoes. It's an outdoor range so check the weather and dress accordingly
 . We run rain or shine.  \n\nFirearm: Bring a reliable semi-automatic ha
 ndgun or revolver and at least 600 rounds of ammunition.  \n\nPersonal: B
 ring your own lunch (there will be a 45 minute break). We are short drivin
 g distance from several restaurants. Snacks and water will be provided.\n\
 nSuggested: A holster and magazine pouches on a belt. While drawing and re
 loading is not part of the curriculum\, it's highly suggested that each st
 udent bring the gear that they either carry or train with to get the most 
 out of the class.\n\nWhere to Go:\n\nWe will be using the Hillside Private
  Property\, which is located a short drive from central American Canyon. I
 t is not open to the public\, and its exact location will only be disclose
 d to students of the class.  We will start at 9am sharp and continue to a
 round 4pm. Please try to arrive 15 minutes before the class starts.\n\nCLA
