This class is des igned to get you Up to Speed with the Safe use of a Holster and Magazine P ouch\, Handgun Fundamentals/ Precision Shooting\, Comfortable Moving and S hooting with a Handgun\, How to use Cover and Concealment\, Self Defense M ind Set and Concepts while prepping you for real world scenarios.\n\nOver the course of four hours\, our friendly instructors will combine classroom and range time to establish good habits and proper fundamentals such as:\ n\n*Holster purpose\, selection\, consideration for method of carry and ma terials available.\n*Proper procedure for loading and unloading\, holsteri ng and unholstering\, storage\, and transportation of a firearm/ammunition .\n*Malfunction drills\, to include alternative malfunction clearance and loading procedures\n*An introduction to cover and concealment\, and the us e thereof\n* Moving and shooting / Self Defense Concepts\n\nPrerequisites: \n\nFirst Steps Basic Pistol Class\, CCW or Equivalent Class \n\nAll stud ents must be legally able to possess a firearm in the State of California. \n\n\nWhat to Bring:   (handgun rental with all equipment needed for cla ss is available at checkout) \n\nGear: Ear protection (plugs or muffs\, e lectronic muffs preferred)\, eye protection (wrap around glasses or glasse s with some form of side protection preferred). Athletic shoes. It's an ou tdoor range so check the weather and dress accordingly. Class proceeds rai n or shine\, and will only be cancelled if the conditions become unsafe.   \n\nFirearm: Bring a reliable semi-automatic handgun with at least 3 mag azines or revolver and at least 200 rounds of ammunition. \n\nHolster and Magazine Pouch: A holster for your handgun and mag pouch is mandatory.
