DESCRIPTION:Building upon First Steps Basic Pistol\, our Next Steps - Handg
 un Fundamentals class is designed for students who desire detailed instruc
 tion\, training\, and practice in the use of a holster. Learn to draw from
  a holster safely\, reload from a mag pouch\, move and shoot\, how to use 
 cover and concealment and learn self defense skills with a firearm. \n\nO
 ver the course of a four hours\, our friendly instructors will combine cla
 ssroom and range time to establish good habits and proper fundamentals suc
 h as:\n\n*Holster purpose\, selection\, consideration for method of carry 
 and materials available.\n*Proper procedure for loading and unloading\, ho
 lstering and unholstering\, cleaning\, storage\, and transportation of a f
 irearm/ammunition.\n*Malfunction drills\, to include alternative malfuncti
 on clearance and loading procedures\n*An introduction to cover and conceal
 ment\, and the use thereof\n*Other topics as time permits\n\nPrerequisites
 :\n\nFirst Steps Basic Pistol.\n\nAll students must be legally able to pos
 sess a firearm in the State of California.\n\nWhat to Bring:\n\nGear: Ear 
 protection (plugs or muffs)\, eye protection (wrap around glasses or glass
 es with some form of side protection preferred). Athletic shoes. It's an o
 utdoor range so check the weather and dress accordingly. We run rain or sh
 ine.  \n\nFirearm: Bring a reliable semi-automatic handgun or revolver a
 nd at least 200 rounds of ammunition. \n\nWe also have Handgun RENTAL pack
 ages available with everything you will need\, holster\, mag pouch\, ammo\
 , eye and ear protection. Click on Handgun Rental at checkout.  \n\nHols
 ter: A holster for your handgun is mandatory. The holster should be relia
 ble\, made of a solid common material\, in good working condition. An outs
 ide the waistband\, hard-sided holster that does not close on itself when 
 the gun is removed is preferred. \n\nOne of our staff members will provid
 e more details about the class\, exact location\, and ammo\, in a confirma
 tion email that will be sent approximately 1 week before the class date.\n
 \nPersonal: Bring your own lunch and any personally required items. .\n\nW
 here to Go:\n\nWe will be using the Hillside Private Property\, which is l
 ocated a short drive from central American Canyon. It is not open to the p
 ublic\, and its exact location will only be disclosed to students of the c
 lass.  We will start at 9am sharp and continue to around 4pm. Please try 
 to arrive 15 minutes before the class starts.\n\nStudents may retire befor
 e 4pm and are welcome to leave at any time. It’s better to quit early th
 an to practice making mistakes due to fatigue.\n\nCLASS COST: $145.00   (
