SUMMARY:Practical Shooting
DESCRIPTION:Practical Shooting is an intermediate course focused on the fun
 damentals of shooting fast and accurately. This class does not cover thing
 s like drawing from a holster\, reloading from a belt\, or any other gun m
 anipulations. Shooting can be done from a table\, but shooting from a hols
 ter is preferred. We will cover the big 3 things behind shooting fast and 
 accurately:\n\n*Proper grip and posture\n*Good stance for absorbing recoil
 \n*How to lead the gun with your eyes and target focused shooting\n\n\nPre
 requisites:\n\nAll students must be legally able to possess a firearm in t
 he State of California.\nAt least a basic understanding of firearms safety
  rules.\nAbility to safely manipulate your firearm.\n\nWhat to Bring:\n\nG
 ear: Ear protection (plugs or muffs)\, eye protection (wrap around glasses
  or glasses with some form of side protection preferred). Athletic shoes. 
 At least 2 magazines for your handgun\, more is better. It's an outdoor ra
 nge so check the weather and dress accordingly. We run rain or shine.  \
 n\nFirearm: Bring a reliable semi-automatic handgun or revolver and at lea
 st 600 rounds of ammunition.\n\nWhere to Go:\n\nWe will be using the Hills
 ide Private Property\, which is located a short drive from central America
 n Canyon. It is not open to the public\, and its exact location will only 
 be disclosed to students of the class.  We will start at 10am sharp and c
 ontinue to around 2pm. Please try to arrive 15 minutes before the class st
 arts.\n\nCLASS COST: $120\n\n
