SUMMARY:Rifle Basics
DESCRIPTION:This Rifle Basics course will introduce the student to the know
 ledge\, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a rifle safely.
  Through this course\, the students will learn about rifle parts and opera
 tion\, ammunition\, gun safety\, rifle sights\, and rifle shooting fundame
 ntals.\n\nStudents will learn proper operation of their rifles basic funct
 ions.  Additionally\, we will address  shooting positions\, shooting fro
 m behind cover\, malfunction clearance\, and much more.  There is no prer
 equisite. This is the perfect class for those that have little to no exper
 ience\, although it provides a great refresher and probably some new mater
 ial for experienced shooters.\n\nThis is a range day\, but we’ll include
  some short talks about the legal aspects of defense as well as basic tact
 ics.\n\nLunch will be provided.\n\nThis class is $345.00\, but if you sign
  up by July 20th\, use discount code JulyRifle to save $50.00 making the
  class fee only $295.00\n\nNotes:\n\n 	This class is held on private prope
 rty behind a locked gate.  Instructors and students are the only people a
 llowed on the property.\n 	We do not have an attorney on staff to determin
 e the status of your firearms\, so there will be no inspection for legalit
 y\; only safety / function inspections will be performed.\n 	We also do no
 t check magazine capacity.  We encourage students to bring all their equi
 pment and all their magazines.\n\nEquipment:\n\n 	Rifle: a modern\, semi-a
 uto is much preferred\n 	Rifle magazine holder(s)\n 	A rifle sling\, for c
 onvenience\n\nRifle Ammunition\n\n 	Rifle calibers: any up to 5.56\, plus 
 7.62 x 39.  If in doubt\, email jerry@threatscenarios.com\n 	Minimum 300 
 rounds\n 	STEEL CORE ROUNDS ARE PROHIBITED\n\nOptional:\n\n 	Body armor\, 
 chest rigs\, IFAK\, etc.\n 	Sights: any\; our instructors will adapt their
  techniques for each type of sight\n 	Clothing: any\, however\, no open-to
