SUMMARY:Rifle and Shotgun CQB
DESCRIPTION:There is an ever-increasing interest in using rifles and shotgu
 ns for defense.  Learn from our professionals\, which include instructors
  with law enforcement\, military\, and/or SWAT experience.  Students will
  learn proper operation of their firearms in basic through advanced functi
 ons.  Additionally\, we will be shooting multiple threat targets\, shooti
 ng on the move\, shooting from behind cover\, slug drills\, shooting posit
 ions\, hostage rescue\, malfunction clearance\, and much more.  There is 
 no prerequisite\, however those with more experience will get more out of 
 the class.  This is a range day\, but we’ll include some short talks ab
 out the legal aspects of defense as well as basic tactics.  This is the p
 erfect class for those that have little to moderate experience\, although 
 it provides a great refresher and probably some new material for advanced 
 shooters.  Lunch will be provided.  The class will begin at 9am and stop
  at 5pm\, and be held on private property in American Canyon.\n\nThis clas

 ass is held on private property behind a locked gate.  Instructors and st
 udents are the only people allowed on the property.\n 	We do not have an a
 ttorney on staff to determine the status of your firearms\, so there will 
 be no inspection for legality\; only safety / function inspections will be
  performed.\n 	We also do not check magazine capacity.  We encourage stud
 ents to bring all their equipment and all their magazines.\n\nEquipment:\n
 \n 	Rifle\, semi-auto much preferred\n 	Rifle magazine holder(s)\n 	A slin
 g for each\; just for convenience.  This doesn’t have to be fancy\n 	Sh
 otgun – modern preferred\, but we’ll work with anything\n 	Shotgun she
 ll holder(s)\, or packets may be used\n\nRifle Ammunition\n\n 	Rifle calib

  ROUNDS ARE PROHIBITED\n\nShotgun Ammunition\n\n 	Shotgun gauges: All\n 	L

 ion than you will need. The following is likely more than you need:\n 	50 
 buckshot (not included in the count below)\n 	30 slugs\n 	200 Birdshot (an
 y size pellets).  Note: buckshot may be used for drills calling for birds
 hot\n 	Keep slugs separate from other shells\, until we call for their use
