The Street Defense class is for male and female students of all skill levels (beginners and up) who are serious about learning how to defend themselves and their loved ones in real world situations.  This course will cover cover a wide range of topics including threat assessment, verbal deescalation, and critical strikes/evasive maneuvers which can be used to safely resolve dangerous scenarios involving one or more adversaries.  Over the day we will:

*Deliver powerful strikes from optimal and sub-optimal positions (such as sitting, or in a corner).
*Target and hit an adversary’s vulnerable points.
*Develop strategies for how to react to the unpredictable.
*Perform drills in a realistic setting and evaluate realistic consequences.

Threat Scenarios’ hand to hand classes focus entirely on practical and responsible use of force.  Our objective is to open your eyes to the reality of what can occur during a fight, whether it takes place in your home, at the convenience store, the gas station, or the park. We will show you how to best stay safe when confronted by an attacker, even if it means running as fast as possible in the opposite direction.
