DESCRIPTION:USPSA Movement Techniques is for students who want to learn the
  movement skills involved in competitive shooting. Students will go throug
 h a variety of drills to designed to evaluate and advance their technique.
  Over our full day course\, you will:\n\n*Learn hard entrance/exit techniq
 ues\n*Learn easy entrance/exit techniques\n*Practice uprange movement\n*Wo
 rk on optimal stance to move quickly and efficiently\n*Learn short burst m
 ovement techniques\n*Grow an understanding of when to apply these techniqu
 es in varying situations\n\nThis is not a “tactical mindset” class. We
  leave tactics/stress inoculation for force on force training within our 
 shoothouse. While we fully intend to challenge your limits and push them t
 o the next level\, we will not be shouting at you and making you roll arou
 nd in the dirt. Our goal is not to leave you with bruises\, scrapes\, and 
 a story to tell. Instead\, we want you to come away with a plan of action 
 for what to focus on and how to correctly practice in order to improve in 
 defense\, recreation\, or competition.\n\nPrerequisites:\n\nAbility to saf
 ely manipulate a handgun under stress.\nAbility to consistently shoot a 8
 ″ group at 10 yards with one shot every 1-2 seconds.\nAbility to safely 
 and healthfully navigate a live fire course under stress.\n\nWhat to Bring
 :\n\nGear: Ear protection/eye protection (wrap around glasses or glasses 
 with some form of side protection preferred). Bring athletic shoes\, boots
 \, or cleats. It’s an outdoor range so check the weather and dress accor
 dingly. We run rain or shine.\n\nFirearm: Reliable semi-automatic handgun
  in 9mm or above with four or more magazines. Bring a holster\, and at lea
 st two magazine pouches. Holsters must be worn on the hip or thigh on the 
 strong side. (If you have a Serpa style holster\, please remove the button
 .)\n\nAmmo: At least 500 rounds.\n\nPersonal: Bring your own lunch (ther
 e will be a 45 minute break).\n\nDay 2: The Match\n\nThe second day of the
  class will be the monthly USPSA match held by the Linden Competitive Shoo
 ting Club. This part of the class is optional and you will need to sign up
  for that separately through Practiscore noting that you're part of that c
 lass\, and will be about another 250 rounds.\n\nWhere to Go:\nWe are using
  the Linden action bays down the ramp to the 200 yard line and to the righ
 t. We will start at 9am sharp and continue to around 4pm. Please try to ar
 rive 15 minutes before the class starts.\n
