Hillside Private Property
Our Tactical Rifle and Pistol class focuses on the fundamentals of rifle and handgun shooting, applications of both, and transitioning between the two platforms.
In this class we will cover;
*Engaging targets from different ready positions
*Multiple target engagement
*Tactical and Speed reloads
*Shooting while moving
*Shooting around barricades
*Transitioning between platforms
All students must be legally able to possess a firearm in the State of California.
A basic understanding of firearms safety rules.
Ability to safely manipulate your firearms.
What to Bring:
Gear: Ear protection/eye protection (wrap around glasses or glasses with some form of side protection preferred). Bring athletic shoes, boots, or cleats. It’s an outdoor range so check the weather and dress accordingly. We run rain or shine.
Firearms: Reliable semi-automatic handgun with three or more magazines. Bring a holster, and at least two magazine pouches. Holsters must be worn on the hip or thigh on the student’s strong side. A reliable rifle with at least 3 magazines, two magazine pouches, and an appropriate sling.
We cannot allow calibers of .308, 30-06, or higher. If you have questions about your rifle, caliber, and/or sling, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Ammo: At least 350 rounds for each platform.
Personal: Lunch will be provided.
Where to Go:
We will be using the Hillside Private Property, which is located a short drive from central American Canyon. It is not open to the public, and its exact location will only be disclosed to students of the class. Registered students will receive an information email and request for confirmation approx. 1 week prior to class.
We will start at 9am sharp and continue to around 5pm. Please try to arrive 15 minutes before the class starts.
